The Founder, Coach Niru
Niru was the first Indian woman ever to win a round at a Grand Slam (Australian Open 1998) and became the first mother to play for India at the 2010 Commonwealth and Asian Games. She was a Bronze Medallist at Asian Games 1998 partnering Mahesh Bhupathi and was India's no.1 player from 1991-2001. She holds record for most singes victories for India in Fed Cup, women's equivalent to Davis Cup. She held a WTA ranking of 132 and Junior ITF of 32.
Coach Niru was a Commentator for Star Sports for Wimbleon,US Open and Chennai Open and has launched her autobiography "The Moonballer" which is available on Amazon. She is also a USPTR Top Certified Coach.
But most recently, she coached her daughter Sahana Sanjeev from no ranking in 2021 to a career high ITF junior rank of 217. Sahana is also committed to play for a Tier 1 college in Fall 2024.
